All of our courses can be provided either in-house or at the Institute. As well as providing training, the Freire Institute works with organizations on specific community projects. Please contact us to discuss your requirements and we can provide quotes for the training and level of support you require. It is our policy to make our courses available as widely as possible, so for groups lacking resources to pay we will consider reducing fees or working with your group to raise funds for the proposed programme.
Open Courses
Occasionally the Freire Institute hosts a course or event for the general public rather than working with specific organizations. This is typically for introductory or 'taster' courses and fees for these courses vary.In-house Courses

Cancellations, Postponements and Amendments
Open Courses: Public training courses are those where we invite open bookings from individuals for a course or event organized by the Freire Institute. You may cancel your booking up to 14 days before the event without incurring any cost. All Other Courses: The following conditions apply for courses arranged with organizations:
- Cancellations: You may cancel your booking up to 14 days before the course date and we will refund your fee less a 10 per cent administrative charge. Cancellations made within 14 days of the event will not be refunded.
- Postponements: Postponements of courses are accepted up to 14 days before the course date without incurring additional costs. Courses postponed after to the 14 day cut-off period will incur additional costs equal to the full cost of trainers, plus any unrecoverable costs associated with the original course booking. Postponed courses must be re-scheduled for delivery within six months of the original date, otherwise the course will be regarded as cancelled and no refund will be made.
- Amendments: We do not make administrative charges for minor amendments to bookings but reserve the right to charge for any unrecoverable costs that have been incurred.
We reserve the right to alter the published programme, venue or course fee or to cancel an event at our discretion, in which case our liability will be restricted only to any fees paid to us.
