Social Analysis Workbook

Introduction to Cultural Analysis

An introductory course to complete your Cultural Analysis Workbook

Introduction to Cultural Analysis

A central aspect of our educational approach is critical social analysis. This course asks you to examine the values, ideas and beliefs that shape our culture, and the social myths (both positive and negative) that prevail. It focuses on the formation of ideology and the way in which this creates and reinforces a "culture of silence", and the ways in which this can be overcome.

This course is not offered as a standalone course but only as part of a broader programme. Participating organizations on our Intercultural Formation Programme will undertake the Cultural Analysis course, alongside other analysis courses, in the field study phase of the programme. The course may also be offered as a subsidiary to related online courses, such as Culture, Ideology and Belief. If you are interested in taking this course, please contact us.
