Todmorden is a small market town in the heart of The Pennines with magnificent scenery. It is situated at the confluence of three steep valleys and on the old Lancashire-Yorkshire border. (an interactive children’s museum in Halifax), a working steam railway and the Hollingworth Lake Activity Centre (which offers rock climbing, orienteering, sailing, canoeing/kayaking, windsurfing and power boating).
